The idea with introductions here is very simple:
Tell us a little bit about yourself, but share only what you are comfortable sharing.
It can be intimidating coming to a message forum and introducing yourself to a bunch of complete strangers. It can be even more intimidating to tell everyone what your financial situation is.
Don't worry - you don't have to share anything you are not comfortable with.
Take a look at some other introductions and see what other people are saying. Once you feel comfortable, take the dive and tell us a few things about yourself, such as:
- Where you are from?
- Do you have a lot of debt or a little debt?
- What sort of debt do you have? (credit card, student loans, medical, house, etc)
- Are finances affecting your life negatively? How?
- What do you hope to get out of this site?
The more you share, the quicker you will find yourself a full-fledged member of this community. But please don't feel as if you need to share more than you are comfortable with.
Thank's for the guide. Self-introduction is very important for me so that the others will know the real me. It's also a one way of gathering more friends in this board.
I mean I just talk about me and honestly I don't even think I do that much. I just let it be known that I exist in the forum.
hey, from denver. I in debts very very bad. I own everybody. credit cards, and other bills too. And I only get 8 dollars an hr on my job. Try to find a part-time job help out , but no luck.
Hello, one of my key goals is to pay off at least two of my credit cards before my 30th birthday: which is about a few months away. I've been working really diligently on it....hopefully will make it. I need to earn some extra money. Watched a show on Oprah which made me realize that, if I made even 10 extra dollars a day, it would help me that much more quickly in eliminating my debt. I've had it pretty bad: had to file bankruptcy at a young age and now dealing with the repercussions of horrible credit. It's been about 5 years now and my credit score has gotten better, but is still in the hole.
I figure hell you will never see my face so why even trip off of it. I Will tell you just about anything when it comes to me with no problem what so ever.
I have been on disability, also unemployed for couple years. I have about $20,000 in debts. I am working now but catching up is my situation. Tired of payday advance loans because they are so expensive, but it seems thats the way I can pay my weekly epenses at this time.
