Hi everyone,

I just took a look around the site, thought it looked like a great resource, and wanted to get involved. I'm a writer with an M.F.A., married to an attorney with an M.P.H. and a J.D. Put together, all those pretty letters after our names spell MASSIVE DEBT. Fortunately, much of our debt is in low interest student loans, but we've got some more dire bills as well. We're looking at the many ways people become, and remain, debt free, and applying those concepts to our lives.

Welcome.  This forum is a great place for ideas on saving (and spending wisely) and getting out of debt; and also you will find scads of folks that can lend a sympathetic ear.

Thanks for stopping in. Well hopefully you will have a decent salary or soon will to knock off that student loan. Try not to rack up to much new debt. Homes cars and other high ticket items can certainly set you back, again welcome aboard.
