sad  I found this site and am excited to see others are in the same boat.  We have all made bad choices but when you get to retirement age and realize you cant retire because you have credit card debts - 49K; OUCH!! So now I want to see how to get out quickly without affecting my excellent credit and not switching balances from one card to another.

Hi indebt,

nice to meet you. It is never too late to get control of your financial situation. I wish you all the best in this endeavor!

Welome aboard. Just start whittling away at it. $100 at a time.

Greetings,

It doesnt matter if your 5 k or 150k in debt as long as you identify what has gotten you there and come up with a well thoughout plan to eliminate it.

1rst step is to create a full budget know exactly where ever dollar you have coming in is going to and then you can come up with the proper solution to get rid of it. It will not happen over night, but there are certainly ways that it can be done at the fastest possible timeframe if done correctly.

Good Luck
