Yeah, I still have a lot to go - $11,534.59 to be exact, but I am so happ to see this number! It's actually more, but I am waiting on a few more updated statements. I will post my update as soon as I know. Actually, it should be under 11K by the end of August! Woo Hoo!
I'm so glad I decided to become focused on this debt issue. I really feel like I can kick this debt to the curb and in the amount of time I had hoped!
Good luck to us all!
Woo Hoo!
Congratulations! I'm doing a little victory Dance for you! Yay! Keep Going!

Thats $250 approx a week on debt reduction. At that pace your will be under 10k in a month. Keep it up! On to the Debt free freedom,
Thats really amazing! You must be really focused on that debt to commit so much in a short time. Keep that debt rolling and I'm sure you'll meet your goal!
Yes, I'm focused, but lucky too. Currently I am living with my parents, so I am throwing almost everything I have into paying off my debt. I don't have a car payment, just insurance. My medical coverage is through work, so I don't have many expenses. Mainly gas and food. I have some trips, birthdays, weddings, oil change and car insurance coming up within the next couple of months. So my debt reduction might slow down a bit, but I'm still focused!
Thanks for everyone's encouragement!
I have paid off over 3k since I have started my debt reducton strategies in late august.
It is amazing what you can do with the money you are already paying on bills to drastically reeduce your payoff time.
Good luck everyone
Wow
Thats great news to hear! Keep up the good work, and you will be able to be debt free soon enough.
The thing with me is that I always seem to start off good and then end up spending the money used to pay somewhere else as I progress.
But great work nonetheless and best wishes !
It feels good to pay off your debt, I'm happy to hear that you are trying to make things better for yourself. Keep up the good work and hopefully by 2010 you will be on your way.
Woo hoo! congratulations and keep going! don't let anything distract you and you'll get there![]()
