After 7+ years, we finally dropped our last student loan payment check in the mail on Saturday, and promptly went out to dinner to celebrate (of course, dinner was on the credit card). 

Congrats!  I'm glad you got the student loans paid off.  I still think it's a shame our youth have to start adult life off in debt to get a good education, but I suppose that's life.

Triple congratulations on paying off that loan.  How did you get so lucky to only have a 7 year student loan.  My loan is for 25years and at 7.25%
