Hmmm...
I think organization is the key to everything. . . finances, weightloss, school, etc.
How does everybody organize their finances, paperwork, and debt? What's your system? How many CC's and Accounts do you have?

I have two credit cards and one line of credit. I pay the credit cards online and the LOC by mail.
I use excel spreadsheets to create a weekly budget (Im paid weekly). I usually work on it on Thursdays and Fridays (Friday is payday). For cash-on-hand, I've been giving the envelope system a whirl. So far it's been working out decently. I think the key is to also save your receipts for everything and put them in the corresponding envelope to help with the next weeks' budget.
Unfortunately, that's as far as things go. I'm going to make an effort to get back into the habbit of sitting down every night and making a list of the things I will do the next day. I did it years ago and it kept me very organized.
I use online banking/bill pay. Chunks of Savings are withdrawn automatically to different areas (debt repayment, investing). I've turned off paper statements and to track changes in budget for the upcoming year we set new amounts and change the automatic withdrawals to the appropriate amount as needed.
This system seems the most simple and automatic for me.
