It seems to me that some people I know are carrying too much life insurance, in my opinion. I realize it's a very personal choice, and it depends on dependents, etc.

Do you take a fresh look at your insurance needs every few years?

Our insurance agent calls us every year and schedules an appointment to review our policies.  Insurance needs change for various reasons, like job changes, moving, kids, etc.  I would recommend everyone going over there policy once a year and seeing if it still fits your needs.

Insurance is very important.  Yes, I do think I spend too much money that I have never used.  Yes, I realize that someday I made need it, but what if I don't?
